Workshops:
The Workshops are limited to 100 people in order to be able to
operate with fairly small workshops. Each workshop is 2 hours long,
we hope to run 3 workshops parallel for each time slot, giving 9
workshops per day except for Wednesday, when there is only one time
slot in the morning. Therefore every participant can take part in
three workshops per day from a choice of 9 every full day. So with
only one choice on Wednesday participants can attend a total of
10 Workshops from Sunday to Wednesday. Three workshops per day
will be at the mercy of the weather though we do have a small room
spare just in case, which is good for dagger and wrestling
workshops.
So far we have the confirmation of the following instructors:

- Harry Winter, Austria, German Dagger

- Dave Rawlings, England, German Longsword, I.33

- Tournament:
The Tournament is limited to 100 people. Every participant can
take part in the Longsword or Rapier Tournament. The Longsword
tournament will be exclusively executed with nylon swords,
provided by us. We will also provide a major part of the safety
equipment for all participants to ensure a high standard of safety
protection.
For the Rapier competition you can bring your own weapon and
safety equipment, though we reserve the right to check your
equipment and weapon before you fight.
The tournament will take place over three days. There will be
three arenas using a ladder system or a small group system. The
fights are judged by three judges, assisted by a time keeper and a
score keeper. We will have a team of approximately 18 judges plus
a head judge. These Judges are chosen carefully for their
knowledge of period martial arts and their impartiality. Last year
the judges performed superbly, there were no complaints that we
are aware of.
All Tournaments will take place from Thursday – Sunday. Those
who want to warm up for the tournament can take part in the Prize
